Stayin' Alive: Eurogardens- An Alternative to Cut Flowers

These days wedding and special occasion flowers can be a little predictable. Rose here, hydrangea here, lily there... No doubt they are gorgeous and I wouldn't trade mine for the world- but what about mixing it up a bit?

There is a great option called a Eurogarden that has tended to fly under the radar for a while. Eurogardens are collections of potted plants that are arranged elegantly in a single container. They can contain trailing ivy plants for that elegant look, flowering plants for that occasional "ahh", or even tropicals and cut-flowers can be inserted to help brighten your day!

The variety offered by a Eurogarden lends versatility to your decor and gifts- and the best part? They won't break the bank, and, with proper care, they can last forever! Not many gifts these days can boast about that. And that gardener or cut-flower-hater, they love this idea! Eurogardens are great for special occasions and holidays because they are long term reminders of your appreciation and caring.

Eurogardens are great for wedding decor as well! Not only can the flowering plants give color to wedding venues but they can also be a money saving option to take place of large arrangements that usually grace stages and alters. Some florists, such as Plant and Flower, will even rent them to you for your event, reducing the amount of items you have to send home with mom and dad as well as saving even more money for your special day.

So my vote goes to a mixture of live plants and cut flowers. Beauty and staying power all wrapped up in one amazing package- complete with a bow.
